What are Silicone Tapes?
Silicone self-fusing tapes (also called self-amalgamating silicone tapes) are high-performance, non-adhesive insulation materials made from pure silicone rubber.
Unlike traditional PVC or rubber tapes, silicone tapes bond instantly to themselves when stretched and wrapped, forming a homogeneous, waterproof, and permanent insulation layer without leaving sticky residues.
They are especially suited for demanding electrical environments, such as high-temperature zones, outdoor installations, and high-voltage systems.
Why choose silicone self fusing tapes?
Due to their superior performance in high temperatures and harsh conditions, silicone tapes are the go-to choice for industries like electrical, automotive, and aerospace where safety, reliability, and performance are paramount.

Silicone tapes Applications in the Electrical Industry:
Busbar systems:Busbars operate under high current and temperature, and silicone tape provides a reliable solution to improve safety and durability.
• Cable Insulation: Silicone tapes are commonly used to insulate wires and cables, providing long-term protection against environmental factors like moisture and dust.
• Sealing Electrical Components: They are used to seal joints in electrical enclosures and connectors, preventing the ingress of water and contaminants.
• High-Voltage Protection: Silicone tapes are ideal for use in high-voltage applications such as transformers, switchgear, and electrical junctions, thanks to their excellent dielectric properties.
• Emergency Repairs: Silicone tapes can be used for quick fixes or temporary repairs in field conditions, where a fast and reliable solution is needed.
